Banking – Week of May 11 in Review
This past week the Federal Reserve was once again in the spotlight with the confirmation of Kevin Warsh as chairman and Jerome Powell’s continued service as chair in a pro term capacity. However, the events with the longest-term impact were on Capitol Hill: the Senate Banking Committee marked up the CLARITY Act, and the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee introduced a new version of the 21st Century Road to Housing Act.
